Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide developed from a pineal gland extract and investigated in a small Russian literature covering telomerase activity, circadian regulation and ageing markers. The studies are mostly single-group, small, and published outside the journals most Western reviewers read, which is why our evidence grade is limited. The mechanism is interesting; the evidence base does not currently support confident conclusions.
As a four-amino-acid sequence it is one of the simplest and cheapest peptides to synthesise on this site, and the 10mg vial is standard.
